Football fans, rejoice! The Manningcast is back for a second consecutive week, and the Manning brothers will get to call an intriguing divisional matchup on Halloween.
The Bengals and Browns are facing off in a matchup of divisional teams who are seemingly heading in opposite directions. Cincinnati has improved to 4-3 after an 0-2 start to the season while the Browns have lost four straight after a 2-1 start.
Some may want to watch this action with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman calling the game, but those that prefer the alternate broadcast will be able to watch “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli” instead.
Monday’s Manningcast will be the fifth episode of the season. The Mannings are expected to produce 10 episodes of the alternate broadcast this season, which is more focused on casual banter about the game and guest appearances than it is play-by-play analysis.
The Manningcast was an instant hit after it first aired in 2021, and it has become something of a cultural phenomenon. Not only are other networks attempting to find their own versions of the Manningcast, but Miles Teller impersonated Peyton in an eerily accurate manner in a recent episode of “Saturday Night Live.”
Thus far, no other alternate broadcast has been as entertaining as the Manningcast. It’s beloved by its fans because the Mannings give great analysis of the on-field play but also aren’t afraid to crack jokes — like when Eli joked earlier in the season that the Broncos should have paid a punter $235 million instead of Russell Wilson — during their broadcast.
Of course, it’s not just the Mannings that make the headlines. They always have guests join them for the show, and that adds another interesting element for viewers to watch. The guests have graced the screen with plenty of memorable moments in the one-plus-year history of this program, the most notable of which came when Marshawn Lynch admitted he had been drinking Hennessy and dropped plenty of profanity during the broadcast.
Will another appearance rival Lynch’s during the Browns-Bengals Manningcast? Here’s a look at the guest list for the Week 8 airing of “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli.”

Manningcast guests for Week 8
- Boomer Esiason, former Bengals quarterback
- Travis and Jason Kelce, Chiefs tight end and Eagles center
- Brad Paisley, country music singer
Boomer Esiason
Boomer Esiason will be the first guest on the Manningcast this week. He spent most of his 14-year playing career with the Bengals and won the NFL MVP in 1988.
Esiason is now part of the “The NFL Today” on CBS Sports, where he serves as an analyst. He is a well-known media personality and should be able to provide plenty of insight into the Bengals as they battle to stay atop the AFC North along with the Ravens.
Travis and Jason Kelce
The Kelce brothers should bring a lot to the table for the Halloween edition of the Manningcast. Jason, a center for the Eagles, was seen wearing a Batman mask after the Eagles beat the Steelers on Sunday while Kelce was in attendance for that game, as his Chiefs were on bye.
The duo will bring plenty of great on-field analysis to the booth. Travis’ Chiefs lost to the Bengals in the AFC Championship Game last season, so he can speak to Cincinnati’s run to Super Bowl 56.
The Manning brothers will also do their best to pit the Kelces against one another. Travis’ Chiefs are 5-2 while Jason’s Eagles are 7-0, so perhaps they will be asked who would win if both advance to the Super Bowl.
Brad Paisley
Paisley’s inclusion may seem odd to some, but the West Virginia-born country music star grew up a big Browns fans. So, he will provide a Cleveland side of things for this contest after Esiason discusses the Bengals.
Paisley knows Peyton Manning well, as the two have been in numerous Nationwide commercials over the years. If you haven’t seen them, below is a compilation of a few of them:
