Is Darren Waller playing Week 9?

Waller (hamstring) was officially listed as “questionable” ahead of the Raiders’ Week 9 matchup against the Jaguars. The veteran tight end has missed the past two games due to the injury he suffered in Week 5 against the Chiefs. Waller was a limited participant in practice throughout the week, just like last week before the Raiders ruled him out.

We likely won’t know if Waller is playing until Sunday morning, so owners need to have a streaming option ready to go. If Waller is out, Foster Moreau is an easy pivot after he saw eight targets for Vegas last week, but Noah Fant (@ ARI), Will Dissly (@ ARI), Juwan Johnson (vs. BAL), Cole Kmet (vs. MIA), and Logan Thomas (vs. MIN) are also in favorable situations.

Is Allen Lazard playing Week 9?

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Lazard (shoulder) will be a game-time decision for Sunday’s game against the Lions, according to beat writer Rob Demovsky.

The veteran wide receiver practiced on Wednesday and Thursday, which is a good sign. Lazard did not play in last week’s game against the Bills, leaving Aaron Rodgers to depend on rookie wide receiver Romeo Doubs, Samori Toure, and veteran tight end Robert Tonyan. If Lazard can play, he’s a must-start in the favorable matchup. This season, Detroit’s defense has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to WRs.
