What channel is Rams vs. Buccaneers on today? Time, TV schedule for NFL Week 9 game

A rematch of one of the NFC Divisional Round matchups from last season, as the defending Super Bowl champion Rams travel to Florida to take on Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.

It’s been a long time since Los Angeles was successfully holding off an historic Brady comeback attempt in January. Entering Week 9, both teams are under .500 and are not currently in a playoff position, something that was not expected of either entering the 2022 season.

Sean McVay and the Rams once again suffered a loss to the 49ers in Week 8, getting beat 31-14 at home. It was the eighth consecutive regular-season win for Kyle Shanahan over McVay and second time this year the 49ers have bested the Rams.

The Rams’ offense had no answer for the 49ers’ defense. Stafford went 22-of-33 for just 187 yards and a touchdown, while the rushing game managed to get just 56 total yards on the ground. Meanwhile, Christian McCaffrey carved up the Los Angeles defense, becoming the first player since LaDainian Tomlinson in 2005 to catch, run for and throw a TD in a single game.

Meanwhile, the Bucs’ woes continue on, as Tampa Bay suffered its third consecutive loss last week, falling 27-22 on “Thursday Night Football” to the Ravens. Despite holding Baltimore out of the end zone in the first half, the Tampa Bay defense allowed 24 points combined in the third and fourth quarters, resulting in the defeat.

Brady completed just 59% of his passes on the night, only the second time this season he’s failed to finish with a completion percentage above 60%. The running game was worse, managing to get just 44 on the ground.

Both teams are in desperate need of wins, however, only one will come out on top.
